Community Guidelines

To ensure a positive and respectful environment for all members, OKAY DEV® has established the following guidelines. Please read and follow these guidelines when participating in the community.

1. Respectful Communication

Treat all community members with kindness, professionalism, and empathy.
Do not use offensive, discriminatory, or hateful language.
Personal attacks, harassment, and bullying are strictly prohibited.
Give constructive, respectful feedback—and be open to receiving it in return.

2. Relevant and Authentic Content

Share content relevant to design, development, and creativity.
Your posts should contribute meaningfully to conversations.
Only share work in your portfolio that you personally created or have clear permission to use.
Misrepresenting others’ work as your own (plagiarism) is a serious violation and may result in content removal or suspension.

3. No Spam or Disingenuous Promotion

Avoid spam, repetitive posts, or irrelevant content.
Self-promotion is welcome in moderation—focus on adding value first.
Promotional links should be clearly labeled and shared in appropriate contexts.
Do not post comments solely to link to your own work, ask for follows, or manipulate engagement.

4. Privacy and Personal Information

Respect your own privacy and that of others.
Do not share anyone’s personal information without their explicit consent.

5. Follow the Law

Do not post content that promotes or glorifies terrorism, hate groups, or organized crime.
Illegal goods, services, or activities are strictly prohibited.
Comply with applicable laws and regulations at all times.

6. Appropriate and Safe Content

Do not post content that is sexually explicit, violent, pornographic, hateful, or otherwise harmful.
Graphic content (for educational or awareness purposes) must include clear warnings.
Glorifying self-harm or encouraging dangerous behavior is not allowed.
This is a space for all ages and backgrounds—keep content professional and welcoming.

7. Profile Standards

Use a real or professional name and keep profile info accurate.
Do not use email addresses, web URLs, or keyword stuffing in your name or bio.
Profile and portfolio images must not depict weapons, violence, masked/obscured faces suggestive of threats, or extremist symbolism.
Misleading, inappropriate, or graphic profile images may result in removal or moderation.

8. Ownership and Attribution

Showcase only the work you’ve personally done in your portfolio.
If your portfolio includes collaborative work, clearly state your role.
Plagiarism is grounds for immediate content removal and potential suspension.

9. Reporting and Dispute Resolution

Use the report feature to flag violations or concerning behavior.
Provide context to help moderators respond effectively.
Try to resolve disputes privately when possible. Contact support if needed.

10. Moderator Authority

Moderators are here to protect the quality and integrity of OKAY DEV.
UThey may remove content, restrict accounts, or enforce these guidelines at their discretion.
Respect their decisions and engage in good faith if contacted.

11. Cooperation with Law Enforcement

We may work with law enforcement if content or behavior poses a risk to public safety or physical harm.

12. Serious Work Inquiries Only

Contact other members only for legitimate professional opportunities.
Personalize outreach messages and be respectful of others’ time and attention.

By following these guidelines, we can ensure a positive, productive, and safe environment for all members of our community. Violation of these guidelines may result in content removal, account suspension, or other restrictions.
