Job Description: App Developer — The Film Dispatch

We’re hiring a developer to build The Film Dispatch app, modeled after the simplicity of the Watermelon Pictures app with a creator dashboard similar to Spotify for Artists.

What You’ll Build

• A clean, minimal user-facing app where members can:
  
• Access our media hub (FRAMED)
• Use the Dynamic Pricing Calculator
• View events, resources, and updates
• A creator/partner portal where creatives can:
  
• Manage their profiles
• Track analytics and engagement
• Upload content
• Review insights similar to Spotify for Artists’ backend

Core Responsibilities

• Design + develop the mobile app (iOS/Android)
• Build the creator portal (web-based or in-app)
• Create smooth onboarding and profile setups
• Implement login, payments, and membership logic
• Integrate analytics and simple content upload tools
• Deliver a clean, cinematic UI (inspired by Watermelon Pictures)

Skills Needed

• React Native or Flutter
• Full-stack experience (Firebase/Supabase/Node)
• Strong UI/UX instincts
• Ability to build a lightweight, fast app with creator tools

Goal

Ship a polished, simple, cinematic app that blends Watermelon Pictures’ front-end experience with a Spotify for Artists – style backend for creatives.
