Phantom were approached by Google to create brand assets for Google Store’s Pixel Transfer Window campaign. Instead of just meeting the brief, we pitched a microgame allowing present/newly transferred Team Pixel users to get the chance to win big ticket prizes.
This was a tight turnaround, but I had the pleasure of being a key team member on the project from start to finish, with my roles including:
- Ideating on the core game loop
- Designing and building the non-standard interaction mechanic
- Building the scene, using custom shaders to elevate visuals and interactions
- Building a performant SPA system in vanilla Typescript on top of a static site builder
