CSS Triggers image
CSS Triggers
CSS Triggers is a rewrite of the original, and now-defunct, CSS Triggers website. This site describes which parts of the browser’s rendering pipeline runs when a given CSS property changes. It’s a very useful resource for writing performant CSS.
Anima image
Anima
Anima is a platform that turns Figma designs into code that matches a codebase’s conventions. Anima offers Figma extensions, VSCode extensions, web apps, and more. While at Anima I worked across the stack, including their frontend platforms, design system, and the design-to-code algorithm. During my time at Anima, I:Worked across our suite technologies: rule-based code gen, AI code gen, Figma plugins, VSCode extensions, web applications, and more.Built an algorithm to improve semantic HTML output from visual designs. I worked with our AI engineer to integrate their module, improving accessibility further.Wrote the plugin for Figma’s new Dev mode under a strict deadline, ahead of Figma’s Config 2023.Modernised many of our services to use ES Modules, reducing bundle sizes.
Component Odyssey image
Component Odyssey
Component Odyssey is a premium web component course I built and recorded. Component Odyssey teaches developers how to build and publish a component library that works in any framework. While building Component Odyssey, I:Built the platform using SvelteKit + Supabase. Component Odyssey supports user auth, payments, progress tracking, and more.Recorded and edited over 40 lessons and 6 hours of video to teach students how to build their first web component library.
HealthHero image
HealthHero
At HealthHero I was the lead frontend developer in charge of rewriting the booking management tool for our internal call center. I worked closely with the call center team to get continuous feedback through user calls, prototypes, and shadowing. I also ran the frontend guild which held bi-weekly sessions and covered topics including frontend design, web accessibility, and frontend testing. Sessions would be hosted by team members sharing their expertise and external experts. While at HealthHero, I: Rewrote the patient booking management tool used by our call center. The platform reduced average call times by 17% while reducing errors by 42%.Used CI/CD practices to 10x our deployment frequency and reduce time to deliver value (from ~2 months to 1 day).Was HealthHero’s accessibility champion, running audits across our product suite to ensure they adhered to the WCAG 2.1 spec.Established a culture of frontend testing as a developer responsibility. Encouraged working alongside QA, writing effective unit and E2E tests.

About

Hey there,

I'm Andrico, a developer who is:

  • Fullstack with 8+ years experience and specialises in the frontend
  • Passionate about building interesting and accessible web experiences
  • Eager to explore and experiment while leaning on fundamental browser technologies

I’ve been part of community groups and contribute to open source. I am product-focused and believe working closely with users is key to building excellent software. I create a strong frontend culture wherever I work through mentoring, running workshops, and clear documentation.

I’ve even worked at one of the country’s best Fish and Chip shops, but that’s probably not why you’re here.
