HealthHero

At HealthHero I was the lead frontend developer in charge of rewriting the booking management tool for our internal call center. I worked closely with the call center team to get continuous feedback through user calls, prototypes, and shadowing. I also ran the frontend guild which held bi-weekly sessions and covered topics including frontend design, web accessibility, and frontend testing. Sessions would be hosted by team members sharing their expertise and external experts.

While at HealthHero, I:

  • Rewrote the patient booking management tool used by our call center. The platform reduced average call times by 17% while reducing errors by 42%.
  • Used CI/CD practices to 10x our deployment frequency and reduce time to deliver value (from ~2 months to 1 day).
  • Was HealthHero’s accessibility champion, running audits across our product suite to ensure they adhered to the WCAG 2.1 spec.
  • Established a culture of frontend testing as a developer responsibility. Encouraged working alongside QA, writing effective unit and E2E tests.
