About
I’m Chip Tran, a Vietnamese graphic designer and art director passionate about transforming ideas into visual stories that connect culture, identity, and emotion. My work sits at the crossroads of design and storytelling — exploring how form, color, and typography can shape meaning and create dialogue between people and place.
I’ve collaborated across disciplines and regions, from Vietnam to Egypt, where I currently serve as art director for Resmailia, an NGO dedicated to preserving the heritage of Ismailia through design, branding, and digital education. This experience has shaped my belief that design isn’t just about aesthetics — it’s a cultural language that reflects who we are and how we evolve.
I’m deeply inspired by the relationship between essence and form — how every design carries a core truth that can be expressed through structure, rhythm, and atmosphere. My process combines conceptual thinking with refined visual execution, allowing me to move fluidly between strategy and craft.
I value collaboration, honesty, and curiosity. Whether working on a global campaign or a community project, I approach every brief with sensitivity to context and a drive to create something meaningful and enduring.
Ultimately, I see design as a bridge — between generations, between cultures, and between what is seen and what is felt.
