Mi nombre es Matthis Herrmann,
a Munich-based Web Designer & Digital Art Director with more than 20 years of experience in designing, conceptualizing, and implementing digital experiences.
As a long-time freelancer, I worked with creative agencies, companies, and own clients – from small businesses to major international brands.
I have contributed to projects for brands such as O₂, Telefonica, Audi, BMW, Vodafone, IG Metall, Marc O’Polo, s.Oliver, Oakley, BR, and Volksbanken Raiffeisenbanken – mostly through collaborations with leading agencies including Serviceplan, Heye, Avantgarde, Arsmedium, Robert & Horst, and webguerillas.
I have also worked in-house as a Digital Art Director for companies like Telefónica.
I bridges design and technology, creating web projects that combine visual clarity, usability, and technical precision – from concept to completion. I work primarily with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript delivering solutions that are both elegant and efficient.
Outside of work, I live close to the mountains, father of two and enjoy surfing, snow- and skateboarding, hiking, cycling and permaculture – following a mostly plant-based lifestyle.
