Ideally, I want the cursor to render that “dot” more continuously - like a stroke that decays from the tail. It feels okay on a track pad, but it’s spotty with a mouse? Not the note succinct description, but…

When you say spotty are you talking about the way it seems to stop, then restart if you pause during a mouse movement? I noticed if I move the cursor, then pause for like half a second, then move it again, there are 2 'tails'. Looks really great though!
More when you move the cursor quickly, the stroke breaks into a series of circles rather than a continuous "fake stroke." Even if I crank the polling up, it still breaks.
